This morning Apple just released the fifth beta of iOS 11 to developers preview for iPhone,iPad and iPod touch. The iOS 11 Beta 5 brings new features include drag-and-drop, redesigned multitask interface, existing bugs, introducing new bugs, and adding some tweaks to various features. The most change in the fifth beta of iOS 11 is about the change icons in Settings and Camera, Apple this time has change its background color from gray to black.
In addition, Apple also released today watchOS 4, tvOS 11 and macOS High Sierra Beta 5,all of which are regular beta for test with fixing bugs.
The public beta users can wait for the release of iOS 11 Beta 5 public beta by Apple soon.
Just have a look on what’s changed or new features in iOS 11 Beta 5:
Apple’s iCloud Messages feature allows iMessages stored in iCloud to free up space on an iOS or Mac device, but it has been removed in iOS 11 beta 5. Apple says the feature will be re-support in the future update, which means there are no plans to add it back to the version of iOS 11 that will launch soon in September. At present, there is no clear reason why the iCloud Messages feature has been removed or when it’ll come back.
The music space in the control center has been redesigned, and an indicator has been added in the upper right corner, which allows users to find the nearby audio sources like AirPods, Loudspeaker and AirPlay devices. When the indicator is tapped, a selection of audio sources could be seen to easily paly audio content connect with audio devices.
The icons of Settings and Camera have been redesigned a little, the Settings icon’s background has been change from gray into black. While Camera app has also been subtly tweaked, introducing a simpler design.
When iPhone or iPad is capturing your screen, the indicator bar will turn to red color instead of blue to notice users.
Currently, iOS 11 beta 5 is limited to developers, but Apple will likely introduce the fourth public beta that we expect to see later this week.
