On June 5 in San Jose, CA, Apple’s yearly, the week-long WWDC conference kicked off with announcing the latest updates of its new products, which mainly focuses on the software running on its Macs, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Apple TVs and other devices.
At WWDC 2017, Apple announced the next major updates to iOS, tvOS, watchOS and macOS, along with a range of hardware including a new iPad Pro and a brand new Siri-enabled smart speaker called HomePod.

Apple showcased iOS 11, the next major update for iOS for the iPad and iPhone. Of course there are a few big “New”changes in iOS 11, more similar features has been redsigned in iOS 11:
Siri has become smarter. Unlike in the past, Siri has been ridiculed as stupid, it’ll learn your interests and suggest related topics in News, or will add related words to your QuickType suggestions, for example. To compete with Bixby in Samsung, “stupid” Siri need to change. The Control Center has been redesigned too, a much needed upgrade. It has huge change after new Control Center was born. The App Store has also been redesigned for the first time in its 9-year history.
Of course the new update in macOS Sierra has coming to macOS 10.13, also named macOS High Sierra, which could bring improvements to the Mac experience. Photos has been made a bit facelift, and new feature APFS has been added in macOS 10.13.
watchOS 4 and tvOS 11 also had some time on stage at WWDC 2017, many people may not know about tvOS, in fact, tvOS may be the least glamorous of Apple’s operating systems.
Apple announced a brand new 10.5in iPad Pro to replace the 9.7in iPad Pro which launched in 2016. This is great news for Apple Pencil users: the Pencil will seem much more responsive and natural in use on the new iPads.
The iMac range has had a significant upgrade, too. It will feature discreet graphics cards that can provide impressive graphics performance now, while there was also a super high-end iMac coming later this year dubbed the iMac Pro. For iMac fans, you can enjoy to expect the new product.
All existing Mac laptops (MacBook, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro) got an upgrade at WWDC 2017 as well, boasting faster SSDs, faster graphics and improved Intel Kaby Lake processors.
A total new product was released by Apple office called HomePod, which is kind of Siri Speaker, but it’s smarter than Siri. It’s all powered by the A8 chipse and 7in tall. While the focus is on the Apple Music support and its library of 40 million songs on-demand. More interesting is, it will recognize weather it is your real voice after you saying “Hey, Siri”, to ensure users’ privacy thereby.
It will officially cost $349 (around £349 in the UK), and first sell on the US, UK and Australia at launch, with availability in other countries coming next year. Looks Apple fans have new things to play once again.
